Nocturne for Violin and Piano is an personal gem within my catalogue. It is based upon a lyrical theme that I came by quite spontaneously in a quiet moment of improvisation. The work, as arranged here as a duet for violin and piano retains that sense of sponteneity. It is a work that is styllistically similar to my Chaconne for solo piano and it is available for premiere.
